Bridget Bourke is the lead sax player and vocalist for Peoria Rhythm Kings. She’s been in the music business for 28 years and has played many genres of music as a sax player and vocalist. Bridget has played around central Illinois with various bands, at Summer Camp, and with the Temptations. She carries influences from Freddie King, Joe Cocker, and BB King. In 2023, Bridget joined the Peoria Rhythm Kings and added another dimension the band was looking for with that classic blues and jazz sound to also fulfill Mike’s vision of the band playing original blues music and still paying tribute to the greats which the band continues today.

The musical style is accented by Mike’s original music to cover songs that are some of the industry’s best such as “ZZ Top”, “Gary Moore”, “BB King”, “The Fabulous”, “Thunderbirds”, “Muddy Waters”, “Taj Mahal”, and many many more.
