Doug Carr is the keyboard player and vocalist for Peoria Rhythm Kings. He’s been in the music business for 50+ years and has played many genres of music all over the Midwest as a keyboard player and lead vocalist. Doug started his music career in top 40 pop music which would now be considered classic rock. In his mid career years he played in a variety band that gave him experience in rock, blues, and country. In 2023, this flexible style allowed Doug to join Peoria Rhythm Kings and add the dimension the band was looking for to fulfill Mike’s vision of the band playing original blues music and still paying tribute to the greats which the band continues today.
